Karsol kft was founded in 2003 and has since grown into one of Central Europe’s leading manufacturers of coffins and funeral accessories.

We are a prosperous, 100% Hungarian-owned company, supplying high-quality products to 16 European countries. Thanks to our advanced manufacturing technologies and the consistent application of the LEAN production philosophy, Karsol plays an active role in shaping quality standards and trends within the European funeral industry.

 

As of 1 January 2026, Karsol kft is fully owned by the Balogh family, ensuring long-term stability, continuity, and a strong commitment to responsible ownership.

Mr. Károly Balogh, Managing Director of the company, has more than 30 years of professional experience in coffin manufacturing. He holds several key positions within national and international professional organizations, including:

– President of the Hungarian Association of Funeral Accessory Manufacturers and Distributors since 2010,
– Vice President of the National Funeral Association and Guild of Hungary,
– Member representing Hungary in FIAT-IFTA, the world’s leading international funeral federation.
